BRIDGES WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE WITHOUT SUPPORT FROM:
FOUNDERS
ADOBE
Adobe has provided key software support for our schools and workshops. They have also actively encouraged Adobe employees to participate in our program: in fall 2007 three Adobe employees joined us on our digital storytelling workshop in Guatemala. You can read about their adventures on
Matt Strain’s blog.
DISCUREN FOUNDATION
Discuren Foundation believes that all children deserve the kind of education that will help them make contributions to society in whatever way is right for them. This means helping them wonder about life, and helping them develop the skills necessary to understand our world and pursue knowledge. Discuren supports efforts to develop innovative programs, teaching strategies, research methods and materials that challenge students and dramatically increase their learning. The foundation has generously supported Bridges' innovative classroom curriculum and Face to Face programs from 2006-8.
GETTY IMAGES, INC
Getty opened its doors to Bridges in October 2006, providing workspace and much more for our staff members and interns. They also offer opportunities to their employees to attend Bridges workshops. Getty believes “that images are a catalyst to understanding and have the power to change the world. To that end, we support local, national and international imagery initiatives that create positive change in our communities and industries.”
